Set in a near-future world where homelessness is “solved” through government-run VR simulations, Never Upon a Time follows a woman living an idyllic digital life — until cracks begin to form in the illusion, and she suspects a darker purpose behind the technology.

For this emotionally charged sci-fi narrative, I composed a synth-based score that reflects both the futuristic setting and the human core of the story. Lush textures and ambient tones underscore the protagonist’s internal journey, blending digital soundscapes with intimate melodic moments. The music serves as both a mirror of the artificial world and an emotional anchor, supporting the film’s exploration of memory, identity, and survival.
